We know, we know… you don’t HAVE to get pink hoverboards for girls… girls like all sorts of colors… and all genders can like pink. But it is a popular request, so we’ve made a special page about it.
There’s really no such thing as girls’ hoverboards. They’re all unisex. So this page is basically a wrap up of some good hoverboards that happen to be available in a pink option and otherwise have some good features for kids.
We’ve reviewed 4 pink hoverboards that would be suitable for kids. Down the bottom we’ve also included some pink safety gear to complete the look.
The best pink hoverboards for girls
HOVERZON Type S Electric Self-Balancing Hoverboard
The Hoverzon bright pink hoverboard is perfect for girls who will be riding it inside or on sealed surfaces.
It’s a manageable size for a child, with 7″ diameter wheels and 23″ width of the whole device. It weighs 22 lbs / 10 kg, and can support riders up to 220 lbs.
Its maximum speed of 8 mph is quite a good level for beginners and children, without being too fast or slow. Another great feature for kids, is that it has a practice mode, that limits the maximum speed. Not only is this great for beginners of all ages, but it’s a good feature for younger kids where you might want to limit their speed in general.
This hoverboard has dual 250 watt motors which provide a range of 11 miles between charges. It has a rechargeable lithium ion battery and comes with a recharging cable. Parents will be happy to know that it is UL 2272 certified and has excelled in electrical safety tests.
It is also equipped with features like LED headlights, battery indicators and rubber bumpers. It comes with a one year limited hardware warranty, limited to those living in the USA and Canada, which warrants the purchaser against hardware defects in materials and workmanship.
The Hoverzon, pictured here in bright, candy pink, is also available in black, blue, garnet (red), gold and white.
Chrome Hoverboard – in Rose Gold OR Metallic Pink
This is another lightweight model, the same size as the Hoverzon. It also weighs in at 22 lbs / 10 kg and can support riders up to 220 lbs. It has a maximum speed of only 7-10 mph, which will be suitable for children.
It has a 36V lithium battery that takes 1-2 hours to charge, and provides about 2-3 hours of use. It has LED lights for extra visibility and safety.
This one has a Bluetooth speaker built in, so you can leave your headphones at home and still listen to music while on the go.
Best all-terrain pink hoverboard
SWAGTRON T6 Off-Road Hoverboard
This is the best choice for an older girl who will be using her hoverboard off-road. It’s great for teens, and can even allow mum and dad to have a turn, as it can support a rider of up to 420 lbs in weight. The device itself is quite heavy (Net Weight 30.55LBS /13.85KG), so a lighter option would probably be better for younger girls if they’ll be expected to carry it around themselves. The minimum weight limit of a rider is recommended to be 44 lbs.
The Swagtron T6 is a very sturdy hoverboard suitable for all-terrain use. It’s 10″ rugged, tubeless tires can go over bumps, grass, gravel, mud and light puddles. It is water resistant and splash proof, but should not be submerged in water. The non-slip pedals and dual foot guards make it more stable to use in wet or slippery conditions.
The powerful 300 watt dual motors can handle inclines of up to 30 degrees. It has a great range, and can go up to 12 miles distance at speeds up to 12 mph. It takes 2-3 hours to recharge the battery. There are battery indicators on the hoverboard, as well as an LED motion indicator for front and rear.
Swagtron is a well known brand making self balancing scooters. They are safety certified to give you peace of mind. In addition to meeting/exceeding the voluntary UL standards, they also meet/exceed UN38.3, DOT, FCC, and ROhS requirements as well as conforming to ASTM standards.
Swagtron make several different models, but not all of them come in pink. The Swagtron T6 pictured here is in ‘camouflage pink‘, and it also comes in black or traditional desert camouflage colors.
An extra benefit, it the inclusion of a Bluetooth speaker, so you can listen to music from your phone while riding, without the need for headphones. (So you can also listen out for traffic sounds – it is much safer!) It can also connect to the Swagtron iOS/Android app for tracking extra information such as battery level.

Tips for buying a hoverboard for girls
- If opting for a hands-free hoverboard for a younger girl to use, look for one with a lower maximum speed.
- A maximum speed of 5 MPH is sufficient for a young child to have fun.
- The fastest hoverboards go up to 12 MPH and they wouldn’t be recommended for very young children.
- For older girls and teens, look for a hoverboard that’s durable and can be used on all terrains.
- This will allow them to use it anywhere inside and outside including on grass, mud, gravel and will help get them outside and active in all weather conditions.
- Some hoverboards have a beginners mode which limits the maximum speed.
- Although this is designed for learning, it also gives parents a way of limiting the speed when it’s being used by a child.
- When buying hoverboards for kids look for a model with bigger tires. This makes balance easier, makes it easier to maneuver and is more capable of handling different terrains.

What about the other hoverboards we recommended?
The SAGAPLAY hoverboard we recommended highly for kids in general doesn’t happen to be available in pink. Only red, white and black. But there are some good alternative brands reviewed above.
The EpikGo hoverboard recommended for offroad use and for older kids only comes in ‘space gray’. A great pink alternative to the off-road style scooter would be the Swagtron T6.
If you can’t find a pink hoverboard for girls in the model you’re after, another option is to get some pretty hoverboard decals to put on a hoverboard.
